As part of a collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Skill Development in Bhutan, the Bern University of Applied Sciences and the CDC, Bhutan is being supported in establishing relevant and high-quality education and training with a special focus on wood technology.
This is achieved through system development, technology transfer and the development of employee capacities. The activities will be based at the Chumey Technical Training Institute in Jakar, where a training factory is also to be set up.
