Capacity development at a technical school in Ghana
St. Paul Technical School in Kukurantumi has been training young Ghanaians in various technical professions since 1957. The training situation in the country has changed significantly over the past few decades: The constant technological development in trade and industry, the growing challenges facing young professionals in the Ghanaian labour market, the academization of society and the general scarcity of resources in the emerging country of Ghana are putting technical schools under great pressure to reform.
